We play this tournament for the love of the game and hope that everyone has an opportunity to meet new people, play teams you would normally not play, and enjoy the weekend.  We have not played for championships in the past because this event is about having a good time playing lacrosse.  In recent years, we have been asked to have championship divisions, so we do in select ages: High School A, High School B, and U15 Competitive.  All other divisions are not for championships and do not have playoffs.  U9 & U11 teams play 3 games on Saturday morning, no games on Sunday.  U13, U15 and High School teams play 4 games over the weekend, typically 2 Saturday and 2 Sunday.  We also try to accomodate U13, U15 and High School teams that would like to play extra games on Friday night.  We just ask that participating teams pay for the officials, since it is not part of the tournament.  We also offer extra games for U9 & U11 teams that may be staying overnight on Sunday morning.  Again, we just ask that these teams pay for the officials.

  • Limited body checking, the intent is to have fun, but no take out checks (do not line players up and take them out, play the ball).  At the refs discretion, this can be an unnecessary roughness, illegal body check, or unsportsmanlike penalty.  If a player or team is particularly physical, the ref will throw a flag or can sit a player.
